In the year 1984 - after coming back from the United States where he worked for several years as a stuntman and actor in many movies - NORBERT BLECHA started to produce movies by himself.

 

Since that time his own company has become one of the leading film production companies in Austria, turning out critically acclaimed films such as "Requiem for Dominic" (Golden Globe and Independent Spirit Award nomination for best foreign film), "The Unfish" (Austrian entry for the Academy Awards) and "The Venice Project" (Golden Lion nomination) among many others.

Besides producing movies for Austrian and German television, his main focus is on international productions on a grander scale - either as a co-production partner on international projects or as an Austrian service provider on a gun-for-hire basis.  On both kinds of actions, he offers his business associates excellent connections to experienced local crews and its well-established relationships with local authorities.
